It’s a Dogs Life 25

Level 2! I have had a friend staying over this last week, and assorted visitors both indoors and out, and (one of) my neices 21st birthday. A busy week of socialising – and juggling numbers to stay legit. I’ll need some social distance to recover.

This was a week which saw me deploying a tarpaulin along with a gas heater to allow 5 people (3 households) to meet outdoors in the garden and survive the cold and wet. (Called off, it was thought the cold and wet would be too much {wooses}).

We subsequently needed the shelter to provide shade, and now, as I write, since I’ve tidied it all away, it is now too hot for me to venture outside. Scotland in May!

I have a check on my eye this week, hopefully getting a follow up date for the second op, when I’ll be able to use the death ray.

Since the skky does not appear to actually be falling on me (for once), this seems liek a good time to put in the first plug for my charity fundraising fire walk.

There has been some incredulity that this is being allowed, much less attempted, but never the less, I am a duly registered participant;

“Walk the Flames” Sat 9th October 17:05 at Pacific Quay Glasgow, (I am assuming Glasgow will either be out of level 3 by then, or that the hot coals will insure against infection).

I will be raising money for “Chest Heart and Stroke” as a small thank you for the excellent care I received myself.

The just giving page should be, here;

This is still a work in progess, there will be more. There might even be a song…

Next week on IaDL; I recently received a cache of old Dalmally papers…..
