Friday, and the sun shines, no-one is expected for lunch/dinner/visiting, so I have no excuse for not actually getting stuck in about the “to-do” list so that at least some things are completed for the big return tomorrow.
However it appears that it’s not me who’s living the “dog’s life” at the moment.
Reports from the islands have – failed CovidTests , vehicle breakdowns (the new car!), and cancelled Ferrys. I should probably buy a lottery ticket at this end. All plans are thrown back in the melting pot and I wait to be updated.
Still there’s stuff to be done and the morning is wasting…so I’ll make this – ostensibly the last “daily” brief – a two-parter and come back tonight with a final word.
