Just to prove that; a/ I sometimes actually deliver what I promise, and,

b/ the spirit of Dalmallyfest is alive and well in Kilmarnock

The crowd grows restless

Still going strong it’s “Something Else”….

..who also sings! (The remarkable Sam Richard, I taught him nothing he knows).

Meanwhile we find another old friend running the food show, and a happy customer.

The audience are entranced by the perfomances….

As the evening draws in, lights and some more informal jamming, (see that key-tar player).

I believe they’re starting Black magic woman.

Bert plays the eleventh solo…..

…and finally, he rests.

Until the acoustic session. (Where, frankly, we own the night!)

There are more shots and I haven’t caught everyone, either on or off stage, but I hope these convey the mood. A great big Thank You to all who came, played, cooked, helped, clapped and drank (some even danced), and those who stayed to clear up the next day.
